Kayak the Chattahoochee: RiverLands Park to Coweta Riverside

October 24 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

The new RiverLands Park opens this month, and two weeks later a group of neighbors is just going to get on the river and see where it goes.

Meet at the park at 10am on Saturday October 24, put in, and float down to the Coweta County Riverside Park boat ramp — about two to three hours, billed as easy. No boat? They are helping find kayaks, first come first served, and they are sorting the shuttle between the two ramps so nobody ends up stranded with a car at the wrong end. They are watching weather and water levels too, which is the sort of detail that tells you these are people who have done this before.

Fill out the survey so they know you are coming.

When: Saturday, October 24, 2026 — meet 10:00 AM, two to three hours on the water
Put in: Chattahoochee RiverLands Park, Chattahoochee Hills, GA (near Roscoe Road)
Take out: Coweta County Riverside Park boat ramp

One of the best Chattahoochee Hills events of the fall, and the clearest possible answer to what the RiverLands is actually for. Palmetto GA, just south of Atlanta, minutes from Serenbe.
