CRK Paddle Cleanup Below Atlanta — New Riverlands to Coweta Riverside
Chattahoochee Riverkeeper is running a paddle cleanup on the river below Atlanta. It is a six-mile stretch from New Riverlands Park in Chatt Hills down to Coweta Riverside Park, and you pull trash out of the water as you go. Moderate moving water, fine for beginners.
Saturday 14 November, 8am to roughly 2pm. Bring your own kayak or canoe, paddle, a Coast Guard-approved life vest, water and lunch. CRK sometimes has a few sit-on-top kayaks to lend, but not reliably, so ask when you sign up.
Registration is required and the exact meeting address is emailed to registrants about a week ahead. Sign up here. Questions go to info@chattahoochee.org or 404-352-9828.
Hosted with the City of Chattahoochee Hills, Chattahoochee Outdoors and the Trust for Public Land.
