Founded in 2002, the Chattahoochee Hill Country Conservancy is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and activating the natural, cultural, and agricultural resources of Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia. The Conservancy works with landowners, farmers, the City, and regional partners to preserve farmland and open space, strengthen local food systems, and guide sustainable growth that reflects the community’s long-standing “keep it rural” vision.
Today, CHCC serves as the City’s partner for Transfer and Purchase of Development Rights programs and advances land conservation, stewardship, and place-based planning. The Conservancy also supports farmers through food system development, market access, and agritourism, while engaging the community through education and outreach.
Donations help protect farmland, strengthen local food systems, and sustain the rural character of Chattahoochee Hills.
