Around Here | Serenbe & Chatt Hills (March 26)

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how easy it is to slip into autopilot… even here. Even in a place that’s supposed to remind us to live differently.

It’s still easy to get buried in work and logistics and screens and errands and the noise of the world, and forget to actually enjoy the life right in front of you. (guilty)

That’s part of what this newsletter is for me. A little nudge to look up. To notice what’s growing. To try the weird event. To do something kind for someone for no reason at all. To take the walk you keep saying you’ll take.

To remember what we moved (or visit) here for in the first place.

Anyway, I hope this gives you a reason to step out of your normal routine and try something new this week.

Around Here is supported this week by Acorn to Oak Health

Membership based, so more access, more time, more relationship. You can actually text your doctor, get in quickly, and not feel rushed. Big focus on staying well vs. waiting until something’s wrong.

Dr. Blackmon (adults) is waitlisted. Dr. Escalante (kids) is open but shifting to a waitlist later this year.

And yes… they’re as good as everyone says. + in my experience: one kid’s urgent care visit covers the cost for the year.

People creating something beautiful together, right in the community. Local artist, Morgan Boszilkov, and interior designer, Maddie Collmus, collaborated on this one of a kind hand-painted tile backsplash for a local client

You Should Know

  • If you were moved by the Rescued Hearts documentary the other weekend and feel pulled to be closer to the horses, that experience exists right here at Soul Barn. Karen Jones’ Equine Experience (I’ve done it – its incredible)

  • Georgia Renaissance Fair is almost here: April 11 – May 31. Get weird, put a costume on, have a turkey leg. People drive from all over to attend and its just a 15 min drive away.

  • Bianca Cavandi’s Bread Mobile is taking April off. This Saturday (at the farmers market) is the last pickup, back May 2. If you want to stock up, pre-order.
