I’m officially spinning the “locals-only” section of Life at Play into its own thing. It’s called Around Here. Your biweekly local download for Serenbe + Chatt Hills.

The Life at Play newsletter isn’t going anywhere. It’s still the stories, experiments, things I’m learning, noticing, and going through. The “how do we actually live well?” stuff.

Around Here? That’s me as your town curator.

But I heard you. Some of you just want the local scoop. Some of you don’t live here. So instead of cramming it all into one email, Around Here now gets its own space to breathe.

• Monday Night Softball in Serenbe is back. Social first. Softball second. Open to all. 3/2–4/27. RSVP each week by Sunday noon.

• 5 week meditation workshop with Kim Ferrari. 3/4 – 4/1. + She hosts two free weekly meditations at Soul Barn.

• Art Farm just dropped its spring lineup. Dark/comedic Macbeth, horse-healing film, ballet in the meadow and more.

• Serenbe Farms 2026 CSA is open (April–December). 30 weeks of organic produce, Tuesday pick-up on the farm.

• Feb 27 • The Voice of Hind Rajab Film Screening • Gainey Hall

  A powerful docudrama about a six-year-old’s emergency call during the Gaza invasion. Presented by Art Farm at Serenbe. 8pm. Get tickets

• Feb 28 • Sound Healing Above the Horses • Soul Barn

  A 75-minute sound bath in the loft with crystal bowls + guided meditation. Bring layers. Featuring Meagan Myrick. 12:15pm-1:30pm. Get tickets

• Mar 7 • Howl at the Moon Dance Party • Music Barn

  DJ night at The Music Farm supporting rescued wolves. Kid-friendly chaos for a good cause. 4pm-8pm. Get tickets

• Mar 21 • St Patrick’s Day Concert • The Inn Pavilion

  Live band, Irish folk, Guinness on tap, Grass Roots Pizza. Kids free. 5:30–10:30pm. Get tickets

• A sad goodbye to Radical Dough. Farewell party 3/1 at 4pm

• Serenbe Farms Kids Gardening (3–8 y/o) starts 3/11.
