The Kids Clay Workshop at Minro Studio is a four-day summer art workshop for children ages 5–7 near Serenbe. During the workshop, kids will explore sculpting, hand-building, coil, pinch pot, and slab techniques in a supportive studio setting.
First, students will sketch and plan their ideas. Then, they will begin shaping and building their clay projects over the first classes. Finally, the last class focuses on painting, glazing, and finishing details.
In addition, students are encouraged to bring a printed photo of something they would like to create for inspiration. This helps children personalize their artwork while exploring creativity and building confidence in a fun environment.
All classes include clay, underglaze paint, glaze, and firing. Pieces will be ready for pickup about 3–4 weeks after the final class.
